In the DMS STEM Academy, students are able to choose their Missions based on THEIR interest. Only STEM Academy students have Makerspace class and are able to work on Missions of their choice.

Every Mission offered is designed to incorporate science,  technology, engineering, and mathematics principals while ensuring that students are able use their creativity.

Missions times range from 1 week to about 6 weeks. Students work at their own pace, with the intention of learning, not just "finishing the work". All Missions use Canvas as a Learning Management System (LMS) and can be accessed from anywhere on the student's vPortal dashboard!
