Where can your child go to volunteer?

There are many locations that your child can volunteer their time. We will continue to add to the list below as we become aware of more locations.
Out of School
Clean the World Foundation (children age 8 through 15 require parent/guardian supervision)
Hands on Orlando
Orlando Science Center (age 13-17)
Give Kids the World Village (children age 10 through 17 require parent/guardian supervision)
Second Harvest (children age 8 through 15 require parent/guardian supervision)
Central Florida Zoo (children ages 13-17)
Salvation Army (children under the age of 18 must have a chaperone)
Feeding Children Everywhere
Rise Against Hunger Orlando
Orange County Public Library
Meals on Wheels
Red Cross

In addition to the organizations listed above, if your child plays sports, they can usually volunteer in the concession stands. **Vann Park and Dewey Booster usually make it a requirement at registration.

Your local church, Boy Scouts, or Girl Scouts organizations would also be great resource.
In School
The below list of teachers have said they would allow students to complete their volunteer hours with them before or after school  (must be prearranged and approved by the teacher in advance).
